On 10th July 2014, at the conclusion of a disciplinary hearing before the Fitness to Practise Panel of the GMC, Dr P, a consultant psychiatrist, was cleared of career-threatening allegations of dishonesty. The panel found no misconduct or impairment. No warning was given. Dr P was represented by Andrew Hockton, instructed by Kashif Mahmood of the Medical Protection Society.
