Sarah Simcock and Susanna Rickard addressed over 70 delegates at a Court of Protection conference in London.
Sarah’s talk covered practice and procedure in the Court of Protection, including expert instruction, jurisdiction and judicial liaison and costs.
Susanna’s session on Deprivation of Liberty, post-Cheshire, dealt with the Supreme Court’s view of DOLS, the Court of Protection’s developing approach to DOLS and the ramifications of Cheshire West for care providers.
