Angus Moon QC appears for NHS Trust in complex child brain injury case

Angus Moon QC has successfully defended a substantial claim made by a brain damaged child who suffers from a rare blood condition. The case was described by the judge, Swift J, as involving very complex medical issues. The trial was heard over 6 days and judgment was entered on behalf of the Defendant on 16th January 2015 on the basis that the Claimant had failed to establish causation in respect of a series of strokes occurring when the Claimant was 2 years old.
