Gerry Boyle in Operation Elveden success

Gerry Boyle recently successfully presented a disciplinary case against a senior Metropolitan Police officer for disclosing confidential material to a News of the World journalist.
The officer was found guilty of disclosing confidential material about a rape investigation and was dismissed without notice.
As a Detective Chief Superintendent and Borough Commander of Ealing, he was the most senior officer yet to lose his job as part of the investigations into corruption.
