Gerry Boyle QC successfully defended a Police and Crime Commissioner against allegations of Misconduct in Public Office in an attempted private prosecution. The PCC was accused of misconduct in relation to an alleged failure to investigate a Chief Constable and collusion. The prosecution was dismissed following Gerry’s legal submissions at a preliminary hearing.
