Gerry acted as presenting counsel in a complex and sensitive police misconduct case involving allegations of inappropriate conduct by a Police Sergeant.
The CPS had decided not to take the case to trial but Gerry secured the officer’s dismissal for gross misconduct. The case involved the presentation of complicated technical analysis of numerous mobile telephones and laptops to show the officer’s activities, and calling live oral evidence from vulnerable witnesses
