Gerry Boyle successfully resists appeal by the former Home Secretary’s Bodyguard

Gerry Boyle represented the Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police before a Police Appeals Tribunal and successfully resisted an appeal by the bodyguard of the former Home Secretary, Alan Johnson MP, who was dismissed from the Metropolitan Police for having an inappropriate relationship with Mrs Johnson. The PAT rejected the appeal against finding and sanction. Gerry was instructed by the in-house legal team at the Met Police.
