His talk examined the legal framework of police integrity, including obligations under the Human Rights Act to ensure proper investigation of serious offences, reviewing the legal protection for whistleblowers, assessing the key findings from high profile investigations and evaluating the implications of having legally qualified chairs at police misconduct hearings.
