22nd May 2019
Gerry Boyle QC and Aaron Rathmell acted on behalf of Gloucestershire Constabulary in the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse case study focussing on the former Bishop of Gloucester, Peter Ball. The Inquiry published its report on Thursday 9th May and, following detailed submissions from Gerry and Aaron, concluded that Gloucester’s investigation in 1992-93 was “thorough and comprehensive” and not biased towards the former Bishop in any way. Gerry and Aaron continue to act in a number of high profile Public Inquiries and Inquests in both the Police and Medical fields.
